Principal’s update
Good afternoon Eli,I want to share some great news, we have received a continuing accreditation form NEASC, New England Association of School and Colleges. The committee reviews previous reports meets with stakeholders, including students. I commend the Eli Whitney staff working together to continually improve and be the best we can be! We also completed the second week of school and our freshman have transitioned to trade exploratory. The freshman also participated with our Empower group, focusing on teambuilding skills. The first lessons are safety! We are very excited for our fall sports. Our football tri-op with Vinal and Goodwin tech have their first away game tonight versus Northeast United at Nonnewaug HS field. Good luck!!Girls volleyball have their first home game on Monday versus Wolcott Tech. The soccer team is ready to kick off their first game as well next week. Schedules are forthcoming. Go OWLS!Remember to always be prepared for school, everyday counts. Be dressed appropriately, no ripped jeans, crocs, hats or midriff shirts.Have a wonderful weekend!Mr. DiNataleActing Principal
